Walker George
A B
Royal Naval Reserve
Died 08-May-19
City Roll of Honour:

Here's an entry in the Glasgow Herald for the 6th of July 1915:
"Able Seaman George W. Walker, who resided with his parents at 29 Jute Street, Aberdeen, died of wounds received in action near the Dardanelles on June 19. He was 18 years of age, and before joining the service was an apprentice painter in the emplyment of Messts Gordon and Watt, Aberdeen, and joined the Royal Naval Brigade about nine months ago."
Are these the same men, dates are different, if not i still cannot locate either on CWGC/SNWM. |
