The WW2 memorial is inscribed as follows:

1939 – 1945
ALSO IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR

Tel. James C. Stewart
Pte. George R. Leggat

“AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM”

Many thanks to Mrs Welsh and Bill Fleming for allowing me access to the church and for providing some additional local history.

Although this memorial is in a church, it is fact the civic memorial. There is no other memorial in Sorn and the men are generally not listed on any other memorial.

Can someone move this to the civic section please? I should be able to do this but have never moved a post before.
