Located now in the Signal Tower Museum in Arbroath is the former
ERSKINE UNITED FREE CHURCH , ARBROATH - Roll of Honour who answered the call of King and Country during the Great War 1914-1919 and this scroll in a glass framed case records the list
The Honoured Dead and three long lists of names of Those who Returned AND
at the base of the scroll is a painting of a Navy sailor and holding a shield showing the ERSKINE U.F. CHURCH and a kilted soldier and at the head of the shield is a drawing of a Nursing sister
The former church was in Commerce Street in Arbroath and it sat empty for decades until the recent years when it was taken over as a firm

The Erskine U F Church roll of honour and roll of service for WW1 was recently donated to the ANGUS ARCHIVES . It was only on loan to the Arbroath Signal Tower Museum for the WW1 anniversary of the end of the War . Its a paper roll of honour in a brown frame with 8 war dead named and 111 men and one woman who survived the war named .
It is now back in the care of ANGUS ARCHIVES on display just now .
