Mrs Aase Goldsmith passed me this from recent Courier.
"Major Ronnie Proctor, assistant regimental secretary of the Black Watch and curator of its museum at Balhousie Castle, Perth is involved in a project called Their Past Your Future. They have interviewed veterans from the second world war to the present day. However, they have not been able to locate any veterans from the Black Watch or other units in the 51st Highland Division who were taken prisoner at St Valery. They would like to hear from anyone who falls into this category to take part. Contact Major Proctor on 0131 310 8530." |
