I tried a wee experiment on the above site and unless I'm not doing something correctly, I'm not getting the results I should be getting?
I typed 'Denny' into the search box and only one single result came up which was one out of approximately twelve I expected to appear. (Thinking that men buried in Denny and Dunipace Cemetery would all appear.)
Also, there is an explanation about counties not always being included by NOK, but Denny is in Stirlingshire, not Argyll, so I'm wondering if Argyll is a 'default'?

interesting but definitely a lot missing, checked a few of my locals and several are not listed - all because no county is shown on the CWGC data but they are all listed on SNWM.

There aren't that many from the Merchant Navy. They've probably got less than two-thirds of the total Scottish war dead listed so there will be a lot of gaps. (assuming about 35k Scots died in the Second World War)
Thanks
