To the Glory of God and in Memory of my Gerald who
Died of Wounds in the Great War on 28th March 1916 aged 30
This small memorial of a great love is dedicated by
Marion Stirling Stuart
To whom for all his short earthly life he was an unfailing joy.
MIZPAH
(Mizpah is an emotional bond between people who are separated ,either physically or by death).

The above tablet in memory of
Captain Gerald Lambert
1st Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers
Removed from the private chapel at
St. Margaret’s, Newport Pagnell
By request of his aunt Marion Stirling Stuart
Was placed here at her death 24th March 1953.

He is also commemorated in Holy Trinity Church, Pitlochry
