That is very nice and very unusual.

I wonder what the original Great War memorial was like as the plaques must have been cast post 1945 to contain all the names so perfectly.

Is there a close-up of the wording on the stained glass window?

I will have to look at old newspapers to confirm it, but a booklet I have from Kirkcaldy Civic Society giving a brief history of the churches says there was a fire in 1953 and church restored in 1958.
I do not have a close up of the wording - attempt failed!
Wording is
To The Glory of God And In
Honour Of Our Gallant Dead
Who Gave Their Lives In The
World Wars 1914-18 And 1939-45
