This is only on until 15th February, apologies for the late notification, it has been on since December 3rd.

It's at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art

Queen & Country

Queen and Country commemorates British service men and women who have lost their lives in Iraq. A project by Turner Prize winner and official war artist Steve McQueen, Queen and Country is a collaboration with many of the families of the deceased.

Displayed within a large oak cabinet, facsimile postage stamp sheets feature portraits of those who have been killed in the conflict so far - with the photographs chosen by their families. But until real stamps are issued the artist considers the work incomplete.

Jointly commissioned by the Imperial War Museum and Manchester International Festival, Queen and Country was produced with the support of Thomas Dane Gallery, London. The Art Fund, the UK's leading independant art charity, gave the work to the Imperial War Museum in November 2007 and is spearheading the campaign for Royal Mail to issue the stamps.

The Art Fund has brought Queen and Country to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, as part of the campaign. For more information or to sign the petition in support of real stamps visit
