Not listed on UKNIWM

The memorial is in Durisdeer Parish Church at OS Map Ref NS 895 037

These brothers died within five weeks of each other. The letters that James wrote home were published as a book 'Letters of a Durisdeer soldier' which contains photos of the brothers and some of their fellow soldiers. Details here http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=554

I visited the kirk this afternoon and admired the memorials.

Have you noticed the mis-spelling of the Somme as 'Somnes'?
