hi all i am from Falkirk, and I am looking for help in tracing details about my grandparents occupations during the war, One grandfather was ground crew at grangemouth aerodrome and other was reserved but was fireman ( AFS ? ) any and all help welcomed.

welcome to the forum, I am no expert myself but I would suggest you try to trace the service record for your grandfathers if they exist. For the one who was ground crew, you should be able to find out which squadron he served with, for another track you could trace the squadrons that were at grangemouth and then try and trace the squadron histories, many have been the subject of books and much is available on the web (good old google should help).
