OS map ref: NG816543, located at the north end of the village in an elevated position.

This is now WMR reference 57506. Links to photographs are in the reference section.
This is a good example of how we divide civilian deaths out from 'service' deaths, so Merchant Navy deaths count as Civilian Deaths.

Ken,

For WW1 the numbers for WW1 are 15 Service Deaths and 1 Civilian Death because the transcription on the post of 12 Aug 2007 is missing Donald MacRae of the NZSR from Cuaig, so 16 in all.

There is where using photos from other sources works, as a back-check; in this case photos from Ross & Cromarty Heritage

For WW2 the numbers are 2 Service Deaths and 1 Civilian (MN) Death= 3 in total

16 +3= 19

Phew, we all make mistakes, I was worried there it was my mistake.
