Tarves - Gordon District
Tarves , location - Parish Church , UKNIWM Ref No. 8631

The Tarves war memorial is a grey granite celtic cross with wheel-head and central boss, and with celtic knotwork patterns carved on the cross face and upper shaft. The cross stands on a tapering pedestal which in turn is set on a base formed by two low steps. The commemoration is in black letters set into the lower dressed face of the cross shaft, and the names of the dead are listed on the face of the pedestal.

The memorial stands in front of the kirk, outwith the kirkyard.
