The Monikie Memorial Hall has the date 1927 on the building and inside the Memorial Hall within the Entrance area there is this Memorial Plaque with this wording :


To the Glory of God and in Honour of Those who served in Sympathy with Those who suffered and in Grateful Remembrance of Those who Gave Their Lives 1914 - 1918

The wording should read

To the Glory of God and in Honour of Those who Served , In Sympathy with Those who Suffered and in Grateful Remembrance of Those Who Gave Their Lives in the GREAT WAR

1914 - 1918
