Hello all. below is the list I compiled. Some are already on this forum, marked with an XXX, tho I think I've missed a couple of "XXX"s off.
Hope this is not too confusing.
All the best
Ross and Cromarty
Visited in 1983/84. Again, no photos or names, only recorded the numbers.
I have looked up the forum and those with starting with an XXX are already there.
I have also looked up the UKNI/Lost Gen sites for entries.
There are several parishes, towns villages and districts. These I found; any missing, I didn’t find.
Loch Broom parish:
XXX in Ullapool, on the main rd south of village: 58 + 24
and at Achiltibuie (commemorating the men of Coigach) 26 + 10. Both on UKNI, 44560/5.
Kincardine parish WM is at Ardgay village, 46 + 10.
Edderton is on the A9, 26 + 9
XXX Tarbat parish WM is in Portmohomack village, 35 + 16 UKNI ref 5915
XXX Fearn’s is at Hill of Fearn village, 45 + 25
Logie Easter is on the A9 at grid ref 778 757 24 + 14
XXX Kilmuir Easter is on the old A9 at Kilmuir church, 28 + none shown WW2. I do not think this is 6024 on the UKNI. Grid ref doesn’t match my map and says 12 casuallties WW1.
Roskeane parish has 2, one at Invergordon, 75 + 20 (UKNI ref 44558). the other is at Alness station, which is not in Alness parish but commemorates men of Alness and Roskeane, 65 + 20.
Alness: see Roskeane
XXX Kiltearn’s is at Evanton village, 42 + 16 and one in 1979 in Ulster.
Dingwall’s is near the station, there are 4: the Boer War, WWs 1 and 2 (UKNI 13473), 4th Seaforths and the railwaymen. I recorded 106 + 32, presumably the world wars.
Fodderty has 2: on the cemetery gates on the Dingwall Rd and commemorates Strathpeffer and district and one at Maryburgh for M and district. My notes say it is between a hill to the south of A834 and the river Conon: 38 + 6. Probably the minor rd running west of Maryburgh village to Contin.
XXX Contin’s is on the main rd: 17 + 3
Gairloch has 2, on the main rd to the south, but is a list of those who served (is this UKNI 44809?). Also at Kinlochbervie behind the garage. No detail.
Applecross: has 2, at Torridon village commemorating 34 + 4 of the Shieldaig Registration district, and one XXXX in Shieldaig village itself, 16 + 4.
XXX Lochcarron: in main street, 30 + 8
Lochalsh: there is one in Plockton village (UKNI 44528),
XXX and one at ? Reraig, 66 + 18 but can’t read my own notes.
Kintial: a monument on the A87 is for “All the Mcraes”, (spelling?) but no parish or district
Urqhart and Logie Wester is at Conon bridge village on the A9, 45 + 6
Resolis, don’t know location, but have recorded 21 + 13
XXX Rosemarkie’s is by Fortrose abbey, 33 + 8 UKNI ref 44797
Avoch 60 + 21 UKNI 44566
Knockbain 38 + 17
Killearnan 24 + 6
These last 5 were presumably easily found, unlike the others not listed here.

Kincardine’s WM and Edderton are on the Forum. Ardgay has been part of Sutherland since 1975.

All four Dingwall memorials are on the forum. The railwaymen one you mention I think is to Sgt Meikle VC , 4th Seaforths
