Additional information: Son of Thomas and Betsy Spence, of Braehead, Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Buried in Kamden Farm Cemetery, Kuruman District.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: A/C. Sp. Mem.
Cemetery: Upington (Station) Cemetery, South Africa

And I've just realised my namesake (no relation) is on this memorial for the Second World War
