N56 41.271 W5 33.631

Granite block obelisk situated above the A861 to the east of Strontian Village overlooking the loch.

These were ours in the days of their boyhood
And their names have become our heritage.

UKNIWM Ref: 44545

From the UKNIWM website, they state that the WW2 memorial is a wooden bench:

"Physical Description
WOODEN BENCH WITH DEDICATORY INSCRIPTION CARVED INTO THE SEAT BACK
CARVED CELTIC KNOTWORK DESIGN FLANKS THE INSCRIPTION"

This must be the remains of the WW2 memorial bench. Names from WW2 are listed on the memorial
