need to give the URL of the forum (or a particular topic) to someone and find it long and cumbersome? Try tinyurl.com (no they don't pay me ) it's free and you can get a nice snappy alias for any URL.
For example the Dumfries and Galloway Listing is http://tinyurl.com/39u8g8 - much easier to remember or give to someone over the phone.

In most cases now you do not need the www. part of the domain in the browser. Thus you could shorten if further to scottishwarmemorials.co.uk _________________ Jim
