Pictures of the 51st HD memorial near Breville France, (same memorial at Coupar) unveiled 2004 for 60th anniversary of Normandy invasion.

My late Father reading the dedication at the memorial, the memorial and the dedication. view at following links. If I have done things right, if not, hopefully someone will tell me.

There is a copy of this piper at Bruar in Perthshire. Is this the one you mean or is there another one in Couper? See the link below for the Perthsire one's unveiling:

What a difference to the piper "apparition" at Longueval.

Nice to see my old friend and colleague Dr Tom Renouf MM at the unveiling. He did the Breville one as Secy 51st HD Association. A good book on the Normandy events is The Spirit of Angus by Lt Col Macgregor available from the BW Museum.
