Dundee Courier 10th June 1921.
"Lord Lovat last night unveiled a memorial tablet in the Town Hall, Inverness, to the memory of the members of the Highland Mounted Brigade Transport and Supply Column who fell in the war.
In doing so his Lordship said Inverness had reason to be proud of the unit, which was raised solely within the town, and had nobly maintained the fighting traditions of the Highlands on every front. Provost MacDonald accepted custody of the tablet on behalf of the community." |
