Located a short way from the village on the Duns road, this lychgate is set with two slate panels bearing the names of the fallen. The text 'Greater love hath no man' is carved over the entrance.

The Holme brothers, who are the first names on this War Memorial are also listed on the Bolton War Memorial Fountain over the Lammermuirs.
