A friend of mine is interested in where the war memorial that listed his great uncle Pte Francis Johnston RGA and Labour Corps is nowadays in the DUNDEE , HILLTOWN PARISH CHURCH is nowadays as the kirk was demolished in the 1970s he thinks .

maybe the church had an official name as I cant see it listed on this index as a Dundee church or church war memorial lost

Yes Hilltown church Dundee and war memorial seems to have been knocked down and the war memorial lost when it was closed in the 1970s from info I know .

Seems that sadly the CWGC have refused the casualty Pte 623731 Francis Johnston Labour Corps and formerly RFA who died of Meningitis in Dundee on 29th Nov 1919 aged 26 even with his War Service - medals showing British War and Victory Medal .
