Hopefully I've deleted your duplicated post Morag.

Just for interest, and if you're doing a bit of family history for him, I think his grandparents are in New Monkland Churchyard, the MI being as follows:

Erected by Peter Gibson and Margaret Wilson his wife in memory of their children
Agnes, Robert, Maggie and Maggie who all died in infancy
Also his mother Jane Primrose who died 17th January 1875 aged 81 years
And his father Peter Gibson who died 29th March 1876 aged 81 years
Their daughter Isabella died 8th December 1885 aged 1 year
The above Margaret Stirling died 9th December 1908 aged 68 years
Their daughter Sarah died 28th August 1916 aged 39 years
The above Peter Gibson who died 19th March 1919 in his 85th year

First name Peter after his grandfather, middle name Primrose after his grandmother. Don't know about Russell though!

Anne Smile

P.S. I've had a photo of this stone since 2008! LOL!! Don't know how I managed to miss him when adding photos to the forum!
