Location: Muirburn Road, Glassford.

This cemetery opened in 1878 and was built around the old church which sadly only partially remains. Over the years several extensions have been added which continue to provide lairs for future generations.

Number of CWGC burials: 4 (plus 1 CWGC Civilian burial)

A brief internet search has come up with no details about this incident.

Surgeon Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Wilson Jackson, Army Medical Staff - named on the grave but possibly buried elsewhere.

Surgeon-Commander William Jackson, Royal Navy. Died at Strathaven on 13th February 1961 aged 88 years.
