Commemorated on Crieff War Memorial, Perthshire, St. Fillans R.C. Church Roll of Honour, Crieff, Perthshire and in the City & County of Perth Roll of Honour within St. John’s Kirk, Perth is the name of John Tracey, Pvt., Black Watch.

He has been identified as No. 265334, 4th/5th Battalion.

He was posted missing at Ypres on 31st July, 1917.

He does appear in the SER and, like George A. C. Mackinlay recently, a number of supporting documents/evidence have been gathered together.

Terry Denham has considered the detail and has decided to forward this case for consideration.

This is very much another 'fingers crossed' to see what NAM say.

Mark
