L/Corporal David Thomson appears on the Dunblane War Memorial, Perthshire.

He also appears in the 'Golden Book' City and County of Perth Roll of Honour under 'Royal' Scots Guards.

There is a GRO Army Return for him and in the Army Returns for Scotland he is recorded as "Presumed at Ypres 11.11.14". 'Soldiers Effects' corroborates this as does MIC.

From the local newspapers;
