I found a Glasgow born James S Murray with a father Evan Sutherland & Georgina S Anderson. Can anyone find anything on this man?

The age is wrong but maybe 40 is it possible the was a mistake?

Where did I get Age 20? Now no idea so really stuck.

Anne - I think you are correct that his age on CWGC is wrong.
Something else a bit odd Confused
His Medal Roll entry and his Medal Card show him as James Murray Private 4335, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders and Private 477582, Labour Corps.
I wonder if CWGC have mixed up two entries?
Embarassed CWGC don't have an age Embarassed

I am just back from doing a talk. The women liked it and I managed to give info to the woman who picked me up and dropped me off.
I would like to find more info about which church would be near to where James lived. Maybe A & S High on the memorial......
