Hi,

Has anybody read the Blood on the Thistle book by Stuart Pearson and Bob Mitchell? I am two-thirds through the book and would thoroughly recommend it. I would be interested to hear from any forum members who may have tried to research any characters from the book. I am trying to find details of the Davie Moran (on page 133) who was apparently killed at Loos in 1915.

Sorry if posting in wrong area, but the books section seems to be locked currently.

Rgds,
Alex

Alex - there's a bit about the Cranston brothers on the Haddington WM thread.
I wonder if the family memorial ever materialised?

Hi Kenneth,

Yes thanks I knew this info was on the forum and I plan to check it all out after reading the book. Now at 1917 - I want to wait and see how the story unfolds without jumping to details of when these lads died.

Rgds,
Alex
