Another one form the Rothesay and Bute memorial album.

Archibald Johnston is listed as Royal Scots Fusiliers, killed in action 10th August 1916.

He's listed on the war memorial in Rothesay with the same information.

Nothing matching on CWGC. Nothing matching located at Ancestry or Find My Past in terms of service records, SDGW, Register of Effects, etc.

I don't have any credits for Scotlandspeople, but a search for 1916 has two results - I suspect they will be the two matches found on SNWM - one is Gordon Highlanders, the other Royal Irish Fusiliers, but can someone have a look for me?

That'll be him, thanks.

I've noticed a couple of the dates in the memorial album are out.
