Alastair Buchan was John Buchan`s younger brother and was killed at Arras on 16th April 1917.His portrait in uniform was painted by Sir William Orpen and is illustrated in John Buchan`s memoir Memory Hold the Door.
Does anyone know where this portrait hangs? Is it in Scotland? Publicly viewable?
