This brass plaque is now on display at the McLean Museum in Greenock.

I'm not sure if Kincaid is still trading - they were certainly still in business as late as 1987 as there are records in Glasgow City Archives for them up to that date. I would presume that as this memorial plaque is now in a museum that the company are either no longer in existence or have moved from the original location of this memorial.

The wording indicates this is also a memorial for the First World War, although there are no names from then.

Interesting to see a lot of Merchant Navy names there, and one for the US Army as well.
