On the 98th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, 'Flowers of the Forest' author Trevor Royle will explore the battle from a Scottish point of view.
Join Trevor as he examines the various regiments involved, including the pals battalions of the Highland Light Infantry.
He will explain that, despite the heavy casualties, the Somme cannot be written off as a complete failure.
