Hi Ken

This man enlisted 9 December 1915, was mobilised 15 July 1916 and was never overseas. He attended a Medical Board on 24th Nov 1916 and was discharged at Edinburgh on 15th Dec 1916 to reside at Hartwood Assylum, Lanarkshire- Physically Unfit due to GPI - Origin unknown. Not result of, and not aggravated by military service.

The Medical Board record confims he was seriously deranged and imagined he was a captain, was going to take over from Lord Kitchener and succeed the King among other things.

Sorry, as you later realised he cannot qualify as a non comm.
