The ideas of war, 1914.
Sir Hew Strachan is Chichele Professor of the History of War and a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Through his numerous publications he has become recognised as one of the leading authorities on the First World War. He is a Member of Council of the Queen’s Bodyguard for Scotland (Royal Company of Archers).
