Hi all,
I came across this message board by accident and just had to register and join in when I found that my Grandfather's business was one of the topics being discussed here! (Beattie & Co, Carlisle)

Having seen some of the pictures folks have posted here I'm now keen to try and get to see all the War Memorials accredited to the family firm - sort of a pilgrimage, I suppose!

I'd love to hear from anyone who knows about where the various memorials are located (or can help me track them down!).

Welcome, a good first visit might be to Ecclefechan http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=1018 as this is one of the closest to Carlisle.
