If you are ever in Aberdeen then visiting this Cathedral is a must as it is a stunning sight inside.

Apologies for the distortion (caused by the wide angle of the lens) on the overview of the image and for the blurriness of some of the images. The service was going to start soon so I didnt think it was right to annoy people with the flash.

Andy

You've done well to get these images without a flash. And a very nice memorial. I take it the little wooden / bronze? scrolls beside the names have unit names on them.

Regards

You mean the framed parchments? I didnt get a chance to read them. But When looking at them on the computer they are talking about the regiments. If I ever get more time I will transcribe them if they are of any relevance.

I took these at a high ISO and altered them slightly in photoshop to get rid of an orange glow.

Here is a copy of the scrolls, sorry for the poor quality, had to crop from the large image.
