Remembered in Edrom Parish Church.

Also commemorated on Edrom civic memorial.

It should be noted that it is no longer viewable in the church itself - Edrom is a fairly standard T-plan church with the pulpit at the junction of the bars but with one difference. That difference is that the laird's loft was basically behind the minister's left shoulder - at first floor level - facing towards the congregation and accessed by its own stairway at the back which dropped down into the ground floor level, which is the Blackadder burial vault, with the outside door.

In the 1970s the loft's fittings were removed - leaving an empty space but for various family memorial tablets - with the frontage to the main church built-up with wood panelling and frosted glass.
