Located on Union Street, presently known as Lyle Kirk, previously also known as Ardgowan Parish Church.

Note that the stacked boxes contain poppies.

On the wood WW1 plaque is ELIZABETH T. GILCHRIST M.D. but I don't see her on CWGC or SNWM.
The BMJ (16/9/1893) has a note of her being appointed Resident Medical Officer in Grove Street Hospital for Women and Children in Edinburgh.
Miss Gilchrist, Elizabeth T. LRCP&S Edinburgh. LFPS Glasgow.
She appears in PO Directories for Greenock in 1904-1907 at 22 Finnart Street as Physician and Surgeon.

note the MD qualification from Belgium.

She died of pneumonia at home in Finnart Street on 25 October 1919.
