I cant add this entry to the BOOKs section of this website so will add it to this as my wife and I have been at Caithness in these recent days and bought a booklet called 1942 : the DUKE OF KENT'S CRASH - A RECONSTRUCTION by George Bethune . This booklet is published by the DUNBEATH PRESERVATION TRUST & printed 2006 . It is a 20 page booket and has inset pages such as 1) Map of the area marking the Memorial , 2) Drawing of the Plane , 3) photo of the Memorial plaque to the Duke and his Companions with a date of 26th of August 1942 , 4) Photo of the Memorial showing the front listing the Duke of Kent and at teh side the names and ranks of his Companions . [ There was one survivor ].

The booklet is priced at £3
