Quote: | If someone nearby could revisit this memorial we could do with some images where names are not obscured by a watermark.
I'm not personally in favour of watermarks (I have amended my own images where I had previously put one on), but if you have to use one, could you not obscure the names? That kind of misses the point. |
These images have been on this Forum since 2009 without complaint or comment. The thread has just been moved here from another section.
The water mark used at that time may be heavier than I am using now, but they are still readable. I would not consider removing the watermarks, someone might just " lift " them as their own. _________________ Jim

I have only just noticed this thread, and there was at least one names detail I found it difficult to read.

I'm not asking you to remove the watermark, but if possible can it be made a little easier to read the names?
Just out of curiosity, if someone lifting the images is an concern for you, why don't you watermark the photos on your own website? |

As related, these are a bit " heavier " than the watermark I am using now. I will take a look at them again when I get some time.
The images on my own site is an entirely seperate matter. They tend to be much smaller in size than those I post here. To avoid watermarking the image detail on those posted here would defeat the whole purpose of the watermark. These images are not on my site. _________________ Jim
