Appeared on the 1901 Census at Crombie, Torryburn, Fife. Age 9. Scholar. His father Robert LOTHIAN was a ploughman.
Enlisted: 31 October 1915 at Dunfermline. Occupation: Police Constable. Address: 180 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline.
Wounded: 30 November 1917 - severe shrapnel wounds to left thigh and face. Treated at the 91st Field Ambulance but died 2 days later. |

The William Phillip listed should actually be William Philp, my great grandfathers youngest brother.
