Edwin S Noble is listed on our Memorial (WW1) but we can find no info on him. None of the 'oldies' in the village can remember a family called Noble in the village.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this guy? |

Possibly I am on the wrong track but I found this ...
Edmund Noble, born Pitcaple, service# 72260 Cpl., Machine Gun Corps formerly service # 9098 Cpl Royal Highlanders. Date of death 07/06/1918.
Information taken from Scottish National War Memorial site.
Sorry if I confusing you with this but maybe worth a look?
Regards

On Ancestry he has a middle name of Ritchie so doesn't seem to be the one. _________________ Researching WWI info from Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardineshire & Morayshire. |

Chris - it would be useful to know what you have already checked to avoid duplication of effort. For example there is both a birth and a death registered for an Edwin Noble on scotlandspeople between 1855 and 1920 - have you already looked at them? _________________ Ken |
