No longer used as a church, it is now called ‘One Wellwynd’ and is a social enterprise hub.
Old Wellwynd Church was built in 1847 and is C listed. It is situated next to Airdrie town centre and overlooks he associated burial ground which pre-dates the church. One Wellwynd Church is notable as being the first public building in Airdrie and was continually is use until 1995. It then became redundant as a place of worship and also derelict.
The refurbishment was completed and One Wellwynd was opened on 21st February 2011.
Both the WW1 & WW2 Memorials have been re-erected in the main foyer.
