The memorial was transferred to Lochee Parish Church after the dissolution of East U.F. The former Lochee Parish Church building has been vacant for some time and currently for sale for conversion into flats;

This tablet was unveiled on Sunday 28th December 1919 by the minister, The Revered David Thom.
The Dundee Courier of Monday 29th December 1919 has details of the service. It also reported that a vellum roll of honour listing the 162 members and adherants of the church who served and returned was also unveiled in the vestibule.
The three names at the bottom - Muir, Fleming and Symons - were not listed in the article so will be the Second World War names.
