The Meigle U.F. Church War Memorial and RoH are now located in Meigle Parish Church. The Free Church building has long since been turned into a private house. I had no knowledge of the Bible and Psalter on my visit to the church so they might have been moved as well?

"An unusual duty in connection with a memorial service devolved upon Miss Young, who presented to the church a pulpit Bible and a Psalter, purchased out of the funds subscribed for the memorial tablets. Miss Young said she esteemed it a great honour to present the Bible and Psalter to the congregation in memory of the six dear lads who made the supreme sacrifice and whom they all missed so very much from their midst. “These lads gave their lives for us, and died for the cause of freedom. Their bright and brave lives are finished, but we will meet them again when we too reach the further shore”.

The Bible bore the following inscription:- “This pulpit Bible, along with Psalter, was presented to Meigle U.F. Church in memory of the sons of the congregation who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War. Their names shall live for ever”.
