On the news this morning there was an item about War Memorials and about getting them up dated with names after World War II so look out for the programme tonight. |

Jackie Bird's documentary, Scotland's Forgotten War, will be broadcast on BBC1 Scotland at 22:35 on Monday (today 9th July 2012). It will also be available for the next seven days on BBC iPlayer. |

Just finished watching "Scotland's Forgotten War".
For all the fuss made about Daniel McCafferty being forgotten in Hamilton...if they'd gone to the town hall they'd see his name on the plaques commemorating post-1945 deaths!
I agree though that the general public don't know about the Korean War, which is a shame. |
