The Black Watch forum on the web has a section called "Black Watch pictures from my collection " by Ron Marsden and in the latest page of pictures (page 39) he as a Memorial to the 14 men from the 2nd Battalion the BLACK WATCH drowned in the cyclone of 1942 . The memorial was erected by their Comrades .

Lists the 14 OR's by name rank and number



The Memorial Photograph shows :


The Black Watch badge at the top with the following wording :

In Memory of these men of the 2nd Bn The Black Watch , RHR., who were drowned in the Cyclone of 1942 :

That's not the original, but as the explanatory plaque says, the original has since been destroyed.
