UKNIWM Ref No 44795

Location in the grounds of the RAFA club overlooking the sea at OS Map Ref NS 344 252.

Original location was Monkton, moved to present location and renovated in 1986/87. From UKNIWM -
"MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED BY POLISH AIRMEN AT THE END OF WW2. DISCOVERED IN A DILAPIDATED STATE IT WAS MOVED TO ITS PRESENT SITE BY THE DISTRICT COUNCIL"

I had no access to the grounds and photographed the memorial over a wall. I presume that the side I could not see just says 1939.
