Has anyone else noticed that UKNIWM are now recording 'Additions to Gravestones'? We have these recorded on SWGP of course.
If you go to the UKNIWM search page and choose advanced search, then select type 'Addition to Gravestone' and select country Scotland you will see what they have so far. Not sure who is reporting these but they have only a small number in Scotland but a much larger number in England.
By looking at the UKNIWM Ref No, they all seem to be fairly recent so I wonder when they expanded to include these?

I wonder if this is why they have upped the numbers of memorials to be recorded from the original 55k to 100k? If so I think it will be a lot bigger than that.
I must admit I personally have always considered these as private memorials but they would have been out of place here and much more appropriate on the SWGP. I also think it is appropriate UKNIWM records them.
Thanks
