Hello,
I'm looking for a photograph of¨Pte. John Rennie, S/42016, 8th Black Watch, KIA 24 Oct 1918, age 19 . Son of John and Elisabeth Rennie, of 16, Gibson Place, Montrose.
Every year relatives of him attend Remembrance Day ceremonies in Vichte, Flanders, where John is buried. They have been looking for a photograph of him... so far they have not found any. I was wondering if one of you in Montrose could help me. Maybe in an old newspaper or something like that???
I would like to surprise them next 11 November with a photograph of their ancestor.
