My Grandfather perished on the above named vessel, but don't believe we as a family have ever been told or ever been recognised with causes of my grandfathers death . Why have these seamen never been recognised as war dead as not only was she being used as troop ship but even at present she is full of munitions sitting at the bottom of the sea.
We have neither been recognised by the ministry or the admiralty or MacBraynes. What is the official stance on this issue. |
